THE FOOTPRINTS IN CONCERT (THE FOOTSTEPS) - 1974 (RE-POST)

Re-post the album "Le Orme in concert "(Le Orme) (Original Post: December 16, 2007).
Re-post of Le Orme's" Footsteps in concert "(originally posted on December 16th, 2007).

In 1974, Le Orme released "In Concert", an album that marks a time as this is the first live album of an Italian rock band. The sound quality leaves much to be desired, and the band members themselves were Le Orme against the exit of the album - that album, it would apparently be the result of an "improvised" an engineer following the band.
Side "A" the original disc includes two new songs: "Truck of fire" (Parts 1 and 2), the first entirely instrumental, the second sung in English. Side "B" contains some of the classic Venetian trio in particular, stands out the song "Prelude to was winter."
Overall, a brave and interesting disc (again, sound quality aside), which is to complete my post dedicated to the best time of Le Orme (see "Felona and Sorona, posted March 15, 2007;" Collage ", posted April 2, 2007," Man of the piece, posted on May 8, 2007; "Counterpoints", posted September 14, 2007).
Voto personale ( insufficiente / sufficiente / buono / distinto / ottimo /eccellente ): Ottimo .

Le Orme, one of the most famous Italian prog rock bands, released “In concerto” in 1974 - a milestone album, due to its being the first live album ever released by an Italian rock band. It is a pity the sound recording quality leaves a great deal to be desired, and the band members themselves were not very keen on publishing this record, which would apparently be the result of an “improvised” recording made by a sound engineer following the band.
Side “A” of the original record includes two previously unpublished tracks: “Truck of fire” (Parts 1 & 2), the former being an all-instrumental piece, the latter being sung in English. Side “B” contains some of the most famous songs of this Venetian trio, plus a nice instrumental never released before: “Preludio a Era inverno”.
All things considered, “Orme in concerto” is a “daring” and very interesting record (I repeat, apart from its sound recording quality), which completes the series of my posts dedicated to Le Orme at their best (see “Felona e Sorona, posted on March 15th 2007; "Collage", posted on April 2nd 2007 "Man of the piece, posted on May 8th 2007, and" Counterpoints ", posted on September 14th, 2007).
My personal mark (poor / pass / good / fairly good / very good / excellent): Very good .
